Yesterday was the fourth day of my work at Kumon, and it was quite okay la~
Lots of things I have to learn cos its a very systematic place there and so so so so so many details I gotta remember.
My job is mainly help in marking and take care of those younger kids when they arrive.
Yes, there is one as young as 3 and a half years old.
i made a few blunders already, like getting wrong homework for them or updating without writing time etc, I need more time to get used to it, man.
On Mon, Tue and Thu i work from 2.30 to 9, which means by the time I reach home its around 11 plus already, and in the morning from 9-12 I'm working for Dr Lau, so somedays I really feel very tired and helpless. All for the sake of money, and I dunno how long I can last.
My tuition job for korean kid starts today, on one of my off-days, which means I have no off-days. GREAT.
Oh ya, last sat we went KBox and I kinda lost my temper cos I was informed it was 2-7, and around 12 bucks at most, so I left work a little later but then I was informed when I was waiting for the bus that it was only until 6 (o.O)
I only reached there by 5 mind you, and I seriously comtemplated not going, but I dont want the others to pay for my share so I went ahead. WX even msg me that the others dont mind paying half for me which got me a bit pissed off. Money is not the point, honey. But she apologised a bit later and we sorted out in the end la.
The main thing is, we left there around 8 plus. Yes, KBox let us sing til we drop cos they dont need the room yet. That's like a few hours difference, what a shame WX had to leave first.
Its like, "is singapore gonna snow?" cos its a miracle. We left because we wanna have dinner and ZX gotta go, if not I dunno when we will call it quits.
Btw, ZX is such a nice elder sister, she forgot her sis' birthday (ahem) but made up for it by going all over a place to find a cute thing to gacha and even went basement to exchange for coins in order to get some cute nice things for her sis. Of course, in the end the thingy she gacha made both of us feel cheated. Shit happens.
Oh and I read on Today about the review on Casino Royale and I almost wanted to kiss the writer. Daniel Craig's Bond replied "do I look like I care?" (or something along that line) when asked he wants his martini shaken or stirred, which is totally not Bond-like.
hated it when other reivews claimed this is their favourite line cos this is obviously not that Bond, James Bond who lived the finest of life.
The writer continued to quote from previous Bond books and movies to prove James Bond always care about such things, which shows the fatal weakness of this new bond - too rough around the edges.
