Stephen Chow says he hates himself most when ideas don't come to him and he feels stupid while thinking up a script.
I hate myself most when I can't seem to stop procrastinating!!
Like now when I'm supposed to be doing my Chinese Tradition presentation slides, I've been watching Fathers and Sons (nice HK drama) on DVD, munching on CNY snacks and surfing the net and what not for most of the day.
And if you can't tell, I'm stopping halfway to blog about how I can't do my work. Whee.
I believe smart people can afford to put in less effort.
I believe I am considered "smart".
But I realised it doesn't mean I can be SO slack!
And now I would like to digress again by discussing my theory of slackers.
When someone is naturally lazy in nature, (e.g. yours truly) things around that person naturally shifts themselves in a manner that fits into the most slack way it can be.
Yours Truly is in FASS, arguably the most slack faculty when you can arrange timetables happily, change majors happily and have no lab hours etc etc.
Yours Truly took a module that won't start its 1st lecture until this Thursday (I did not know beforehand)
Yours Truly have only 3 modules that has tutorials and they don't start until the 5th/6th week.
and so on.
I am a natural born slacker and procrastinator, and yes, I do hate myself for that occasionally.
But I think people around me hate me more for this reason too.
